Ordered! Definitely in for unreleased Johnny Cash. I doubt the album is more than 30 or so minutes, I would've liked them to include the versions the way Cash had embellished them before going a different artistic direction with Rick Rubin as well as these new arrangements. Judging by "Well Alright" above, John Carter has gone for a classic Cash sound and it's likely more listenable than whatever Johnny did, but I'd still have been interested in comparing both versions.

Jason, I was pleasantly surprised by the stripped down approach - particularly as I am not such a big fan of his 80's output, but I see your point. Particularly if the disc is only 30ish minutes long (which I'd agree with your guesstimate). I think both approaches would have been good to be combined (assuming the embellished were 'completed'). Definitely into this release.
