It's The Sony/BMG A's And B's, meaning, it includes Epic singles through 1974, RCA in 1989, and no releases in between since they were all on non-Sony labels.

Some great material here, but kind of a weird collection for a band that wasn't much of a singles band, at least not until Crazy Love, which came much later.

I think I'll stick with "The Forgotten Trail" and the other individual titles that they used to tack on the later stuff. I see no reason to get this new one myself.

The Forgotten Trail is an excellent comp. From the Inside, Cantamos, and Head over Heels are probably my favorite Poco albums.

Gold (2 CDs) and Collected 1969-2017 (3 CDs) are career-spanning comps highly recommended, and Collected also features solo material and a ton of songs.

I did a long interview with Richie Furay and he told me the second he heard “Take it Easy” on the radio he knew it was over for Poco making Country Rock a mainstream success. The Eagles had homogenized it into something more commercially appealing than Poco. Poco were the real deal and that was why they couldn’t crack the marketplace until the late 70s when they adopted a more adult contemporary sound. I only saw them live once, but they remain a favorite of mine.

Oh, we talked about Neil alright. Richie was heartbroken over what Neil did. So was I! I wanted to see Buffalo Springfield. The You Tube clips from Bonnaroo were really good. I really impressed Richie when I mentioned seeing a repeat episode of Mannix as a kid (I was too young when it was new) and that Buffalo Springfield were in it. He laughed and told me how that all came about. And yes, his recent solo material is quite good.

Don't worry, Renny. BGO titles are usually delayed from the original announced date, but they always end up being released.
