Recorded between 1985 & 1987 prior to the release of Jerry Lee's bio pic "Great Balls Of Fire." His exploits as a piano-thumping egocentric with an unquenchable thirst for living were the fodder for numerous biographies, film documentaries, and a full-length Hollywood movie. Certainly few other artists came to the party with more ego and talent than he and lived to tell the tale. And certainly even fewer could successfully channel that energy into their music and prosper doing it as well as Jerry Lee Lewis.

Sunset Blvd is not a label that gives many details. I received their James Brown LIve CD a few weeks ago and they have no info whatsoever with regard to recording date or personnel or location of the show. And it sounds like an FM recording. Good music, though.
