Former guitarist Snowy White (1980-1982) also appears on the album on three tracks, "Renegade", "Hollywood", and "Killer On The Loose", which were recorded in 1981.

I've added details to Alan's opening post.

This 2CD remaster is going to be coming out the same day as the Live And Dangerous box set. More details on the box set can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=117568

It’s about time ! Great album that features all of Thin Lizzy’s guitarists. I’m surprised it’s being rereleased. I remember reading somewhere that Scott Gorham didn’t want to put out anything with John Sykes on it. A couple of years later the Deluxe Edition of Thunder And Lightning came out but without any Sykes live bonus material. Wounded Bird did a remaster of this about 25 years ago and the sound was terrible so this is a must have.

Universal did something a week or so ago with only 50 copies available and I got one thanks to a tip from a friend on here.

It’s newly remastered, but the issues still remain.

Phil was a mess and insisted on mixing it, and he did a bad job.

I will say this sounds much better, but not a whole lot better than the Metal Blade remaster from 1996.

No bonus tracks was a bummer, because they did other songs on the 1983 tour that aren’t on Life/Live.

As a lifelong Lizzy obsessive, I am always in awe at how popular they still are and how many reissues, DVDs, box sets and documentaries keep coming out.

Even a Rock Hall of Fame nomination and I didn’t think those idiots even knew who they were.

I love it!

I always wondered about that. I also noticed that on Scott's most recent Thin Lizzy tours they never do any material from the Thunder & Lightning album. Makes me wonder if Sykes got on Scott's bad side, like he did with Coverdale.

Gorham and Sykes had a falling out around 2009 which led to a Lizzy tour being cancelled.

Scott is bringing what passes for Lizzy back next year for a tour (and he left Black Star Riders).

I have no idea what the lineup will be.
