Yep. Thanks, Linda. I'm all over this, using the provided IMWAN link, as usual.

These appear to be exact duplicates of the 2013 remasters box, which included a T-shirt.

Those also had the Fricke notes.

That box had a second CD with the first album - the Graphic Sound Ltd. EP which included I Just Wanna Make Love to You, Big Boss Man, Boom Boom, and Pretty Thing.

I'm only interested if these are a sonic upgrade from the 2013 set...

I skipped that box because it was incredibly expensive here in Canada at the time. I held off, hoping the CDs would be reissued on their own. And now, nine years closer to death, my patience has been rewarded! I just have to wait for them to be live to order on Amazon.ca.

Have the two Animals reunion studio albums from 1977 and 1983 ever been legitimately remastered?

They were remastered in 2018 and released on Secret Records from the UK.

do we know if the the debut is the US or UK version (or combined)? I believe at least one other had different US UK versions as well.

ABKCO only owns the U.S. rights, so these are the U.S. tracklists.
Animalization was titled Animalism in the U.K. with a slightly different track list. Then the title Animalism was used in the U.S. for an entirely different album only released there. Hip-O Select released the U.S. Animalism in 2005- it's the last album recorded by the original line-up, has a couple of tracks recorded with (and one song written by) Frank Zappa and I think it's the best album the Animals ever did. It's very unfortunate that it's not more widely available.
