This looks cool! I saw George a bunch of times back in the day.

This is a poorly titled and half-assed compilation with nothing from the first three albums on Rounder and many lesser choices.

Get the 2 CD “Anthology” from 2000 for as close to a perfect Thorogood comp as you can get (and even that one misses a few things).

The 2CD Anthology is long out of print and now priced as a collectable:

An alternative would be this more recent 1CD best-of which is still in print:

But The Original George Thorogood comp in the first post is intended as a showcase for his original compositions, which is why it's not going to include his best-known covers.

That’s a good point.

It’s amazing how many albums George has done that are primarily covers.

I’ve got the 30th anniversary comp. I understand what he’s trying to do with this new compilation, but “look man!”, I think everyone needs “One Bourbon…”.
