As of this moment, it's still on track for release on August 19th (this Friday) in its native UK.

Based on past experience with imports, my advice would be to let your USA pre-order ride for now. If things go right, Amazon USA will have it in stock on August 26th (a week after the UK). If not, you could always re-order it from an Amazon USA third party seller, of which there should be several once this has been released.
