Provisional details for the big box have been added to the description in the first post. Universal confirms there will be smaller configurations as well.

The four songs on Disc 5 could have easily been appended to Disc 4, leaving Disc 5 wide open for, say, the complete rooftop recording.
I'll buy it anyway.
Me too. But I'm taking any and all bets against there also being a "soundtrack album" (multi-disc of course) of Peter Jackson's film, containing the rooftop concert and more. They do want to milk this for as much cash as they can, right?

I assume there will be a physical package of the film with the rooftop concert included as bonus footage.

How long is the entire rooftop? Could they not squeeze it onto the EP? While the pricing has not been released yet, that EP annoys me equally (particularly without the concert). May be part of the movie, but I would like an audio disc of it (and I know I can rip it, but I should not need to). Oh well.

I'd buy that too. Provided there's not TOO much overlap. (Given that some of the rooftop made the original album.)

I believe that the concert is about 36 or 38 minutes. The EP is totally useless. We don't need remixes by Young Master Giles of "Don't Let Me Down" and "Let It Be". We don't need more rejected Glyn Johns mixes. We'll get enough of those on the "Get Back" CD which is something that should have come out way back when "Let It Be Naked" was released.

I'm amazed at not including more songs from the roof top concert and I definitely am aware of more recordings from the sessions that would have filled the EP. I will not be getting this as I didn't get the Abbey Road box because of the lack of decent unreleased material

It's about 40 minutes. I have a bootleg of it plus 30 more CDs of jams and outtakes

As much as I want to dismiss the exclusion of the rooftop concert as possibly being due to too much duplication, when I look at that slight EP it makes the decision appear even more questionable.
