If you're not nice
Some clarity for collectors ...
If you don't care about the video content, the separate 2CD set (pictured below) contains all of the audio material from the big box set.
If you do want the video content, get the big box because it includes five bonus tracks on the Blu-ray and DVD which don't appear on the standalone versions.

If you didn't buy the Later Years box set and you're considering buying this release, I highly recommend it. The picture & sound quality on the blu-ray are phenomenal. It was the highlight of the box set for me, along with the surround sound mixes of both studio albums.

I’ll get this, though the mullets (especially on Scott Page) in hi-def will be frightening.
I could not afford the Later Years set and it would probably be sitting on my shelf if I had, but this I’m in for.
I saw this tour twice in Philly in September 1987 at JFK Stadium with over 100,000 there. This was one of the few shows where they opened with “Echoes” in its entirety, and again in May 1988 at Veterans Stadium.
I wish “Echoes” was part of this as a bonus but it was never filmed.
Amazing shows, though the 1994 shows were superior.

Am glad this is coming out as a separate thing and glad the entire concert is included this time. Between this and the Roger Waters blu-ray, it's gonna be a great fall!

Pratt is an excellent bass player. He looks better these days than in his younger years.
Pratt was/is married to Rick Wright's daughter.
I have the Later Years set and I highly recommend this, especially for those who never had the pleasure of seeing PF. My only gripe is looking at Gilmour's goofy hair. I'm not going to mention Scott Page.
The BluRay of the '94 tour is excellent also, but it suffers from being video taped and also being in 4:3 definition. I doubt that'll be released again.
I saw the 87-88 tour in Nov of '87 and the following April of '88. Both excellent shows. But I agree with Pete and others..... the '94 tour was a superior lighting and special effects spectacle..... and I like The Division Bell better than AMLOR.

I also like the Division Bell far better than A Momentary Lapse Of Reason, but I do like both albums a lot.
I also still play The Endless River quite a bit. I thought that was a special set of music.
Please comment on Scott Page!

Oh, I like AMLOR also, but just not as much as TDB. At the time, it was a worthy PF album. It didn't age well, so that's why I really like the new remix.

I saw Scott when he played on Supertramp's last Roger Hodgson tour in 1982. He actually had decent hair back then. I will say that he's a gifted sax player.

I'm in for the deluxe box. $90 is full retail, which means the consumer will likely be able to get this box for <$70 without too much difficulty. Can't pass it up at that price. I'd be pretty happy if Gilmour would give the remix of A Momentary Lapse of Reason a stand-alone release, then I will have no regrets about never getting the The Later Years box.

I wonder if that's how Gilmour met Page when they both appeared on Supertramp's Brother Where You Bound album? I remember the rumor at the time that Gilmour was going to join Supertramp

Even better than I had thought. Another retailer has listed the 2 CD/1 Blu/1 DVD box listed for $60.02 + $2.99 for shipping. I'm guessing Walmart puts a $65 price-tag on this and Amazon will have that matched shortly after Walmart posts it. Of course, with Amazon the buyer will also get a free shipping option.
