Rick brought us the cover image, which I've moved up into the first post.
All of the Amazon pre-order links are currently dormant. Def Leppard's own website had a brief mention of the box (no content details, just a mention of it) earlier in December, but that article has been deleted. Let's hope it's not being cancelled altogether.

Joseph brought us the finalised tracklist for the box, which I've put into the first post All of the pre-order links at the top of the thread are now active.
A question regarding the HIgh 'N" Dry remaster: On the original CD (the one with the "Bringin' On The Heartbreak" remix and "Me And My Wine" as bonus tracks), the song "No, No, No" is faded out early, unlike the original album version, that played out longer and ended abruptly.
Does the remastered CD restore the original outro to the song?

Inquiring minds want to know.
I've had this set on backorder since June 28th, so I haven't heard this CD yet. If it is the same as the CD in the CD Collection Volume One set (and it's probably a safe bet that it will be the same), then you will get about six full volume "No's" and then about ten more "No's" during the fade before the disc ends.

That's too bad. I'm guessing that the song was faded out early for the original LP reissue, but apparently, it was never restored. Pity.

I finally got this in the mail today. I'll post comments after I listen to all the audio, which probably won't be for a couple weeks. But I was surprised by the packaging (in a good way, for once). I figured it would be the traditional mini-sleeves in a CD-sized slipcase. But the outer slipcase measures about 9.5 inches high, 9.5 inches wide and a little less than 1 inch deep. There is a hardcover book inside, and then a tri-fold folder that contains the CDs. But the CDs don't just fit right into the folder, the CDs come in mini-sleeves and the slots in the folder hold the mini-sleeves. This looks like it might be a formula for disaster, as the openings are on the top of the mini-sleeves which could allow the CDs to slip out of the sleeve's during shipment and then the consumer could wind up with scratched disc, but in my case everything was tight enough without be too tight...all the CDs were in the sleeves as they should be and everything arrived in mint condition.

This release gets a big thumbs up.
About the only thing that I think fans could complain about here is that it really does play more like a super deluxe version of On Through the Night...with High N Dry thrown in...rather than a comprehensive overview of the first two albums.
There is a bit of fatigue with hearing some of the same songs repeatedly, but that is pretty much standard with super deluxe versions...but it doesn't seem excessive when compared to other deluxe sets.
Overall sound of recordings plus mastering all range from OK to good-plus. I'd recommend this set, and would think that people who really like the first album will really like this collection.
