just like the old days....put out a comp and add a couple or three or four unreleased tracks.......adding words like 'exclusive' 'acclaimed' and 'spectacular' maybe things are starting to turn around a bit
so this will be his second compilation and he has a box set with all his albums in it too....right?
p.s. looks a little like the old fever tree cover, eh?

This is actually the second compilation linked to his ongoing Digging Deep podcast series. The first was a vinyl-only box set which did not include any previously unreleased material.

He's allowed to have a second compilation.
Is two seen as too many?
I fail to understand the complaint here.
However, it's an unsatisfactory comp leaving off many key tracks, including some awful ones (White, Clean and Neat and Wreckless Love?) and not surprisingly going heavy on recent albums where Plant is an old man.
I see little sales appeal here.

I have the Nine Lives box set and Sixty Six To Timbuktu compilation. Sixty left a lot to be desired. When Nine came out, I jumped on it. That's all one needs.

Does anyone remember this Plant compilation, which I think was only a promo or possibly for overseas markets? I got it when I worked at Atlantic (from '88 to '94).
Track listing: 01 Heaven Knows 02 Burning Down One Side 03 Tall Cool One 04 Big Log 05 In The Mood 06 Tie Die On The Highway 07 Pink And Black 08 Ship Of Fools 09 Little By Little 10 Hurting Kind (I've Got My Eyes On You)
The track listing for this upcoming compilation is strange, as several people have already pointed out, but I like that it's not in chronological order. Too bad they overlooked Shaken N Stirred completely. I love that record. Sure it's a product of its era but there are some great songs and it sounds unlike anything else he ever released. Also, Richie Hayward's drumming is spectacular.

I know the description says this features tracks from his eight solo albums, but I wonder why there aren't any tracks from his album with Alison Krauss, since this compilation has duets with Patty Griffin.

just guessing here, but maybe be krauss wouldn't sign off?

I have never seen it before, but the cover looks pretty bad. Like a first ever attempt at a collage. The listing on Discogs for this 1990 release seems to indicate this was South American, from Columbia, Brazil and Argentina. https://www.discogs.com/master/view/691090
