I remember when the first album came out....RCA billed them as from the same school as Guns N' Roses and gave the album a decent promotional push. I never thought this band sounded anything like Guns N' Roses, more like a laid back version of The Cult...kind of in-between Electric and Sonic Temple. I have the first album in my collection, don't think I bought it but rather got a freebie from my record store working days.
The first album seemed like 4 good songs and the rest filler to me, but I had a couple friends who really dug that record. If you are into that era of The Cult, head to youtube and check out "Call of the Wild" and "Motor." If you like both of those, this could turn out to be a decent purchase especially considering it's 4 albums worth of stuff for a pretty reasonable price.
