Doris Day was an American singer and actress whose career began in the late '30s as a big band singer. During the '40s, Day achieved commercial success with her first 2 US #1 singles 'Sentimental Journey' and 'My Dreams Are Getting All The Time'. Over the next two decades she recorded more than 650 songs which included an impressive 13 UK Top 20 singles. This definitive 3CD set features 60 tracks from across Doris Day's career including the classics 'Que Sera Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be)', 'Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps' and 'Dream A Little Dream Of Me'.

CD 1 opens with Doris Day's international hit 'Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be)' taken from the Alfred Hitchcock film 'The Man Who Knew Too Much'. It went on to become Day's signature track and won the 1956 Academy Award for best original song. The rest of CD 1 is packed full of hits such as 'Secret Love' (from 'Calamity Jane'), 'Let's Walk That-A-Way', and 'If I Give My Heart To You'.

CD 2 features even more timeless recordings including Day's first #1 singles 'Sentimental Journey' and 'My Dreams Are Getting Better All The Time'.

CD 3 rounds off the set with more classic tracks including 'Dream A Little Dream Of Me', 'I Got The Sun In The Morning' (from 'Annie Get Your Gun') and Doris Day's duet with Frank Sinatra 'Let's Take An Old Fashioned Walk'. The disc finishes with 3 signature Christmas recordings 'Here Comes Santa Claus (Down Santa Claus Lane)', 'Winter Wonderland' and 'I'll Be Home For Christmas'.
