I really don't understand their marketing strategy for these releases. I didn't jump on the Misplaced Childhood release right away (I had other priorities at the time) and now it's impossible to find at a reasonable price. You'd think if they spend the money on the 5.1 remix and other stuff they'd want to sell as many as possible.

I don't think the people at Rhino have known what to do with some of these book-style box sets, as it seems that certain titles sell out quickly and then become pricey collector's items. The same thing happened with some of the Jethro Tull sets. I guess the lesson is to jump on these when they're released, usually at a reasonable price, because that might be your only opportunity.
My only complaint about some of these Marillion sets is that they're not including everything from the prior reissues of each album. I really hate when artists or labels do that. If you're releasing a so-called "definitive version" of an album, you can't omit something you previously offered on another edition. But of course it happens all the time.

Received my box set signed by Fish last week. Obviously beautiful packaging. Very good sound, the surround mix isn’t as immersive as the best surround mixes but still it’s a fun way to listen to the album.

Very nice. I hope to get a non-signed copy sometime next week. I've enjoyed all of the surround sound mixes in this series, with Brave and Misplaced Childhood being the standouts so far. Sorry to hear this one isn't as strong. I hope the next album to get this treatment is Seasons End.

Guys, enjoy! I originally ordered the Script box from Amazon.UK due to them having the best price. Than someone posted on one of the forums that all Royal mail to the USA was going economy (1-2) months & Amazon.UK posted that they wouldn't ship the item to the USA. So I cancelled, & someone posted Import cd's was relatively inexpensive. So I cancelled the Amazon.uk or & ordered from Import; who with out explanation cancelled the order tonight. They also said there would be an unspecified delay of the refund because it had paid by Pay Pal. I am not happy. Import cd's: NEVER AGAIN. I shouldn't be surprised as they are part of the Super D/Alliance Evil Empire.

No, that's completely wrong.
Amazon UK pre-orders are still shipping in a timely fashion, and at the normal speeds. The current notice that appears on most Amazon UK listing pages -- "This item does not ship to the United States" -- doesn't apply to anything that had already been pre-ordered (and is temporary regardless).

I was able to get advance promos of the cd's; but still need the blu-ray. It APPEARS that the only people who have received the actual box at this time are those who ordered directly from the band &/or directly from Fish?

That is correct. Marillion and Fish were provided pre-release copies for direct sales through their respective websites; the former is sold out while the latter still has autographed copies available.
April 3 is still the most commonly listed retail date, although Amazon UK is now showing April 17. At this point I'm taking a wait-and-see approach.

I bought from Fish because I follow him and try to help him (as I do all musicians). The bonus is I got the box early and signed. My one big regret is not getting to meet him last year on the Cruise To The Edge 2019 as he pulled out from the event a few weeks before sail. He appears to be a fascinating person.

I bought one from Fish & one from the band. This one had too big of a price difference for me to go that route; but it may turnout that was the only way to get it at all!

I've met him several times and he's actually quite nice, though a bit imposing since he's a big guy.
Amusingly, we talked about American football a lot, as he loves the sport and at the time NFL Europe was still around and we talked about the Scottish Claymores who played in Edinburgh.
He told me nobody had ever discussed that with him.
I told him I know too many useless things, and he signed my shoe and my ticket stub.
