Description
Although he may be primarily known for the Christmas novelty song 'Nuttin' For Christmas', Barry Gordon had an interesting career in the pop music field thereafter. Teensville collects the very best of his work on The World Is Mine: The Complete Recordings 1964-1971. This compilation features two complete albums, including Barry's unheralded concept album Pieces of Time. Also spotlighted are various single-only sides with contributions from veteran writers like Barry Mann, Cynthia Weil, Neil Sedaka and Carole Bayer. The CD is presented with a full colour 16 page booklet with liner notes, annotations and pictures.

Let Me Try is a perfect example of fantastic mid-60s pop.
