Sandy Posey’s 60s records are rooted in the sounds of the American South, centring on Memphis & Nashville, with chillingly evocative songs of youthful heartache that crossed the borders of country, pop and soul.

Recorded mostly by Chips Moman at his American Studios, this compilation covers Posey’s peak period from 1966-1968.

Out-of-print for years, this definitive MGM compilation is a must for any discerning fan of 60s girl-group/pop-country.
