I'll be getting this. Here's a little info on the release from the Eagle Rock site:

Carole King’s very first performance outside of the U.S. took place in 1973, at The Montreux Pavillon as part of the world-famous Montreux Jazz Festival.
Released for the very first time, this concert film was captured two years after she altered the course of pop history with ‘Tapestry’, and one month after she issued the album ‘Fantasy’. Carole performs with heartfelt energy, playing classic hits such as “It’s Too Late”, “I Feel The Earth Move”, “You’ve Got A Friend” plus standout tracks from Fantasy - “Believe in Humanity” and “Corazón”- as she is backed by an ensemble of top musicians.

Also the possible set list, per setlist FM:
I Feel the Earth Move
Way Over You
Smackwater Jack
Home Again
Beautiful
Up on the Roof
It's Too Late
Fantasy
You've Been Around Too Long
Being at War With Each Other
That's How Things Go Down
You Light Up My Life
Haywood
Quiet Place
Corazón
Believe in Humanity
You've Got a Friend
So Far Away
(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman

I hope the above will be the tracklist for the video/cd. I would love it to be the tracks from the "Fantasy" album. These tracks were played at her free concert in Central Park, which is the first concert I attended. All in all I am excited for this release.

I'm in for this as well. One of the greatest songwriters of our generation. I think every girl I dated back then had Tapestry.

Eye bee inn !! Interesting set list, mostly from Tapestry and Fantasy, no cuts from Music, rats...

Wrong: "Carole King’s very first performance outside of the U.S. took place in 1973, at The Montreux Pavillon as part of the world-famous Montreux Jazz Festival."

Fact: She played in London for the BBC in 1971, video on YouTube. Wish they'd officially release this:

Yes, that would be an awesome set list. Assuming that "Way Over You" is actually "Way Over Yonder," that's 9 of the 12 songs from Tapestry included. "Being At War With Each Other" is another of my all time favorite Carole tunes and I have always loved her version of "Up On The Roof." Excited for this release regardless, but even more so if this track list is correct.

According to the Amazon links for the stand alone CD and CD/DVD the description and track listing is as follows:

DVD+CD EDITION. Released here for the first time, this 1973 Montreux show (her first ever performance outside of the U.S.) captures the early stages of a truly remarkable career. DVD/CD Track Listing: 1. I Feel The Earth Move 2. Smackwater Jack 3. Home Again 4. Beautiful 5. Up on the Roof 6. It's Too Late 7. Fantasy Beginning 8. You've Been Around Too Long 9. Being at War With Each Other 10. That's How Things Go Down 11. Haywood 12. A Quiet Place to Live 13. You Light Up My Life 14. Corazon 15. Believe in Humanity 16. Fantasy End 17. I was just on iTunes and happened to notice this release. It has the track listing as above - 18 tracks. It doesn't include Way Over Yonder. iTunes also has preview tracks for all 18 cuts. The tracks from Fantasy sound really good in the live setting. Definitely looking forward to the release of the DVD and CD next month!

Another track up, "You've Been Around Too Long", from the "Fantasy" album. I like the full band treatment.

May have to bite on this one. I think Carole's Fantasy is a criminally underrated and overlooked album. She was still writing and recording at the same high level she was at for Tapestry, imo. Writer, Tapestry, Music, Rhymes and Reasons, and Fantasy are some of the best albums of their day. It dropped off after that, except that the Really Rosie album is pretty terrific.

I agree Fantasy is very underrated. Thoroughbred and Wrap Around Joy are also pretty good Carole albums. Have you heard those? I really like the One To One album that came out in 1982 as well.

Yep, got my copy this morning. David T. Walker, Tom Scott, Clarence McDonald, Harvey Mason, Charles Larkey, Dick Hyde, Bobbye Hall and full horn section. The band is really great on the Fantasy tracks.

I really wanted to like Thoroughbred, and I know a lot of people do, but I never warmed up to it. Wrap Around Joy has a few good cuts on it, but I don't think it's in the same class as Fantasy or any of the albums that came before. I really like the album she did with The City, which came before Writer.
