Let's hope that the above configurations will be in general release (in which case Amazon's prices will surely end up better by the release date than buying them direct from Rhino). Eddie also made a separate thread for the gigantic version of this box, which will be a Rhino exclusive (and is only for true Woodstock hippies):

The 10CD, 3CD and 5LP editions will indeed be general releases, and details have been added to the opening post.

I like the 10 CD set but was hoping to see more Who. Once I see a nice discount I'll get more interested.

To be honest, the Who set is probably the only thing I would replay much from this release. I'm hoping that there will be a standalone Who release of their entire performance at some point. While I realize the historical importance of Woodstock the event, most of the artists have dated pretty badly for me. The usual suspects like the Who, Sly and the Family Stone, Hendrix, Joplin, and Santana are the artists I play for enjoyment these days, and some of them already released their entire performance, and with luck the rest will follow suit. If I want to hear the "Woodstock experience" I find the film, soundtrack and various highlight comps I already own to be sufficient.
Just my opinion. I realize I am in the minority (of one?) here on ICE, though.

A minority of two, in actual fact.
There may even be more of us. Maybe not double-figures more, but we couldn't be the only ones who don't really want to hear every moment of the whole thing in this format.
