Description
UFO are widely regarded as one of the UK’s best hard rock acts and this year they are celebrating their 50th year in existence with their final world tour. This double album brings together the best of the material they recorded in what is considered their halcyon years for the Chrysalis label. The compilation has been created in conjunction with members Phil Mogg and Andy Parker who have provided new insights for the notes. This set has been newly remastered from the original analog production masters by Andy Pearce. Presented here in an 8-panel digipak with o-card with new sleeve notes by Malcolm Dome.

Though I own everything they've done, I'll get this because.... just because.

UFO is one of the most underrated hard rock bands ever. It seriously astounds me how they never took off. One listen to their first live album, and I guarantee that you'll be hooked. Guaranteed!

I hope they do a live CD of the final tour. A video would be nice, too. Their last DVD/Blu Ray was killer.

Their first live album in the space rock era was excellent, a lot of people may not know it exists.

For this new collection are these all studio versions? If that is the case they should have kept Electric Phase and Love to Love together.

One of the greatest bands in rock history.

Track listing is pretty haphazard here and not chronological, but it’s decent and represents all albums from 1974-1986.

Interesting Andy Pearce is doing a new remaster for these songs instead of then using Peter Mew’s remasters which were very good.

I have every album so do I need this?

Absolutely not.

Will I get it?

Probably.

I will pass on this unless it is a significant improvement over the new remasters and Japan first pressings. I might be all set.

In-forum search requires a minimum of four characters. In this case you could search for a word in the title, such as "standing" or "light".

I don't need it, I have every album, it's not in chronological order, and the album cover looks like a glow-in-the-dark condom you'd find in a bar bathroom.

Aside from that...
