David Edward Sutch (11/10/40-6/16/99), or simply Screaming Lord Sutch, was an English musician and serial parliamentary candidate. During the 1960's he was known for his horror-themed stage show, dressing as Jack the Ripper, pre-dating the shock rock antics of Alice Cooper. Other props included knives, daggers, skulls, and bodies. The "heavy friends" that play on this two-fer include Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, John Bonham, Nicky Hopkins, Noel Redding, Ritchie Blackmore, Keith Moon, Matthew Fisher & Victor Brox.

i remember both of these, sold decently because of the guests, some interesting moments, but when all was said and done, not really good albums at all.

worth it for completists (sigh) and nostalgic reasons for sure though.
