The Screaming Jets combine the twin-guitar attack of Thin Lizzy, southern boogie of Lynyrd Skynyrd and more...The Screaming Jets are one of Australia's premier long standing rock bands. With years of touring, multiple hit singles and numerous famous albums to their name the band are synonymous with what Australian rock'n'roll fans expect. Born out of previous bands in the NSW district of Newcastle, singer Dave Gleeson and his mate, songwriter and bass player, Paul Woseen have progressed the group through various line ups until arriving at the sensational set of five players who currently perform and record The Jets' unique blend of lyrics, riffs and chords. Few bands can claim the track record of music released by The Screaming Jets. Since their entry into the album market during 1991 the group has sent forth a half a dozen albums titled All For One, Tear Of Thought, The Screaming Jets, World Gone Crazy, Scam and Do. Featuring covers of AC/DC ("Ain't No Fun") & Johnny Cash ("Folsom Prison Blues").

One of the last decent bands in living memory, in my opinion. Or, at least, the last proper Australian rock band of a particular era.
