...and still can't get the "Buckingham Nicks" title released. Don't get me wrong...a lot of this material looks great. Still...

there were 3 alternate/remix versions for releases from "Out of the Cradle" - are any of these tracks those non-lp versions? and I agree that (although I DO have "holiday road" on a promo LB anthology) having both Vacation OST tracks is worth the price of admission. this release looks excellent.
for the record, the Buckingham/Nicks cd WAS released in Japan last year. I purchased it directly from cdjapan.co.jp - bonus tracks, OBI, and all - it's quite lovely. please see the IMWAN thread: "Could this be for real? (Buckingham/Nicks Japanese CD reissue)" for further info.

Actually the track listing shows that Holiday Road is a live version.
The new compilation has the studio version on Disc 1 and a live recording (from 2008 Live At The Bass Performance Hall CD) on Disc 3.
Missed that thank you. The track listing is still a bit odd as one album is limited to one track from Law and Order. Good album but perhaps it is not the artist's favourite.

So very glad we get the "D.W. Suite" (Dennis Wilson). I am really excited for this release.
Why are you glad, if I may ask? Great song, but "D.W. Suite" is readily available on Go Insane. I'm all about the rare tracks on these comps, not regular album tracks. I am excited for this release, though. Lots of good stuff, and I agree with everyone (well, except the people who have the promo disc!) that it's worth it just for the Vacation tracks.

Well to have it re-mastered is one reason. Another a tribute as intended needs to live on within his body of work. And a personal favorite for me. Just points right off top of my head. With that said I would love to have seen more rare soundtrack stuff and such.

Thanks, just wondering.

According to Pollstar, with the exception of two shows, a copy of Buckingham’s “Anthology” will be included with each online ticket purchase for his upcoming tour
Quote:
Tickets for his fall tour become available for purchase on Aug. 18. Each ticket purchased online (except for Wilmington, N.C. and New London, Conn.) includes his new Anthology in physical or digital format.
The album is set to be released on Oct. 5 via Rhino Records, as a 3-disc set on CD and digitally. The record will also be available for purchase as a single disc abridged release. Solo Anthology – The Best of Lindsey Buckingham is available for pre-order now.

Interesting point about the Connecticut show, and a few others, it is in the same city and same night as another band his fans might be familiar with
