Really? The full show is available for $12. Twelve. Dollars. Time spent preparing this could have been used to get the Royal Albert Hall show in shape for proper release.

I don’t get hung up on the number of comps, or reissues, a band has. But this has to be one of the dumbest, most useless, releases I could imagine. I thought the idea was to get away from the butchered Hendrix releases of yesteryear. A disappointing turn by Experience Hendrix.

I would have hoped if anything a new version containing the songs that were not available, not a version that actually has even less. Unbelievable!

They probably just wanted to have some small product available for casual music buyers as a tie-in for Woodstock's 50th anniversary.

I've got the two CD version and I have to agree - I don't see the point of this.

Maybe we'll get a really good remaster of the original Woodstock soundtrack album? Then again...maybe we won't.

I'll be honest with you guys, if I was going to drop anything from Hendrix's Woodstock performance it would be the Star Spangled Banner. I know it's a historic performance, musically innovative, and probably the main reason some folks would buy this set ... but I grew bored with it a long time ago.
