Stumbled upon this release from summer by accident and it's an impressive compilation spanning the band's entire career through 2013 plus solo material.

I'm going to get this one.

Seems to be part of the Dutch "Collected" series that is usually very in depth and 3 CDs.

IP,

very nice....i notice 'crazy eyes' is omitted, yet 3 songs from that album

and i wonder why they chose to put a jim messina song and a randy meisner song on there and yet no paul cotton songs?

i wish they would call me when they do these comps......................i am available.

Yeah, no "Crazy Eyes."

I also am still waiting for "What Do People Know" to be on a comp.

Gold is the best one out there, but doesn't have enough older material, where this one is very extensive but still misses a few!

The fans are the ones who know what a comp should be.

When I used to talk to Jimbo on the phone, we used to joke that they should hire people like us to compile box sets and best of CDs because we knew best.

But we also found out that band or label politics influence these comps like what happens to a Styx comp. But yes fans always know best. One reason I enjoy Apple Music 'essential' playlists which are usually pretty darn good.

I mostly prefer the CBS material from the original band (+ the Legacy reunion album)
