Thanks! I think I need Sweet Surprise on cd. I have the Japanese Be True To You; which is certainly one of his best, & is the official follow up to Blue River (Stages which wasn't released until decades later is the true follow up to Blue River).

This just arrived today. I really got it for Sweet Surprise (a good album that I only had a 44/16 needle drop of).

That said, imo Be True To you is a much better album. I already had 2 digital copies: a Japan cd, & a 96/24 download.

I was surprised, but the BGO kicks the Japan cd's rear. Same subjective volume, same DR (10), but the BGO has way more detail. (oddly, the 96/24 is also a DR10!)

I do prefer the official 96/24 by a large amount, but if you only do cd, or need Sweet Surprise (Dr12), I would definitely recommend this.

I'm still on the fence on the BGO Wendy Waldman, this may get me off the fence.
