Description Celebrating over five decades in the music business, superstar Cliff Richard went back to his roots this past year and delivered a stunning new tribute to the records and artists that he loved, which make up the 15 smokin' tracks for his latest album The Fabulous Rock & Roll Songbook. As a major feat in itself being his 100th album release, The Fabulous Rock & Roll Songbook finds Cliff Richard, one of the world's first great rock & rollers, come full circle and sing new heartfelt versions of classic American rock songs such as Teddy Bear (Elvis Presley), Rave On (Buddy Holly), Johnny B. Goode (Chuck Berry), Rip It Up (Little Richard), Dream Lover (Bobby Darin), Wake Up Little Susie (Everly Brothers) and Such A Night (The Drifters). His 100th album release also features a brand new Cliff Richard future classic One More Sunny Day as well as very hip new takes on songs like Bryan Hyland's Sealed With A Kiss and a wonderful rockabilly interpretation on the Ricky Nelson classic Stood Up. Cliff Richard said about recording the album: "It was like being back in the '50s with TheShadows in Studio 2 at Abbey Road - only it wasn't The Shadows, and it wasn't Studio 2 and it wasn't the 50's. I was in Nashville, Tennessee at the Blackbird Studio with five great Nashville musicians and we were recording....LIVE." Friday Music is no stranger to the history of classic rock and roll music. After many exciting releases from legendary artists like Elvis Presley, Ray Charles, The Everly Brothers and Chuck Berry, it is with much honor to announce our first release from one of the world's greatest pop stars ever with Cliff Richard and his brilliant new masterwork The Fabulous Rock & Roll Songbook. For the first time ever in North America, this limited edition compact disc was recorded and mastered impeccably in Nashville, Tennessee and faithfully matches Cliff Richard's impeccable voice and persona with his handpicked favorites like no one has done before. Combining his talents with a five piece rock & roll band, these exciting new Cliff Richard interpretations take on a whole new level and will appeal to both the old and new fans alike. To enhance your Sir Cliff Richard experience even further, this stunning Limited 100th Album Edition also includes colorful new artwork, photos and liner notes, as well as 15 of Cliff's favorite classic rock and roll tunes you will forever enjoy. Friday Music's description in the first post is a little confusing. This is a domestic CD reissue of Sir Cliff's 100th album which was originally released in the UK in 2013. Friday is calling their new pressing the "Limited 100th Album Edition" featuring an expanded booklet (but no bonus tracks).

We should sticky this statement for every Friday Music release description! But we always know they will be “impeccably mastered”.
