Rhino's latest solicitation says that a general release 2CD set of David Bowie's Welcome To The Blackout live album is coming on June 29th. This was previously released on vinyl for the most recent Record Store Day.

Hoping for a hi-res version. I've heard the vinyl & I slightly preferred this to Stage.

Awesome. This release was a huge and delightful surprise. Surprisingly different in feel from Stage, which I also like, but this might be even better.

I have a nice rip of the RSD release, but have just pre-ordered the CD!

Finally listening to this and loving it. I have no problem with listening to multiple shows from a tour, so having Stage doesn't lessen my pleasure. Didn't get the 2017 version of Stage, so this is my first (non-bootleg) Belew-era Jean Genie. WOW!! Love Belew solo-ing on Bowie songs! Could happily buy a couple more shows from this tour!

So thread-bump!

Wonder if the Box set series' & new vault releases are going to continue? Let's Dance/Tonight/Glass Spider/Labyrinth era (probably his worst period if you discount Deram) is next if so.

I am playing this right now and I think it's far better than Stage (not putting that one down- I like it as well). I find the performances more energetic and Bowie is really into it. My complaint about Stage is that it was a little sterile and reserved sounding. This album does not have that problem at all. Highly recommended.
I will take any shows the Bowie estate puts out.

My initial vibe on this one is also stronger than Stage. And I do love Stage, especially as it documents the first tour I saw Bowie perform.

I was wondering that too. Usually they come in September and nothing's been announced yet.

I wish they'd put another one out so I can borrow it from Smiff.
