Apart from the surprising licencing of two songs from his Christmas album this is fairly pointless...if only Warner / Rhino were as active with his catalogue.

I literally ran into rod stewart in London... he was getting out of the cab that I was getting into. I asked: rod stewart? and he responded: "that's me, mate!" he smiled and walked away. he was wearing a bright red silky-type shirt... no handbag, as I recall, but this was 20 years ago.

This has, surprisingly, entered the UK album chart at #35..with no real promo...the second Mercury era collection to do so this decade while Rhino/Warner sit on their hands with multiple discs of unreleased material eady to go simce 2009...
