At $3.60 a disc, this is a steal. If you've always been on the fence with these guys, now's the time to get off of it. The sound quality on these is stellar.

You got it, Rick? You'll love each and every album immensely. Obsession is the best of them all. I rank that along with Walk On Water (out of print now) as the greatest stuff they did while Schenker was with them.
The Paul Chapman era? No Place To Run, which is in this box, is it. Great album.

Hey Mark, I just ordered it. And like you I LOVE THIS BAND! I have many of the standalone CD's but to have it ALL in one collection and at this price I went for it.
Like I say my friend, this will my companion (and riding shot-gun) in my car for the rest of 2018. How can one resist?

I picked this up to. My favorite is and will always be Lights Out. And I had the privilege to hear Michael play it right in front of me last week in NYC. A true bucket list moment!

You can’t beat the Schenker era albums. The Chapman albums are all very very good too. Even the often bashed “Making Contact” is an excellent album. It’s got When It’s Time To Rock , Diesel In The Dust , Blinded By A Lie all kick ass. There’s not a bad album in the box and the remastering is top notch

Yep, even the Chapman era is good. It's not as good as the Schenker era but pretty damn close. Two different guitarists with different writing and playing styles.
The dark horse of this box is the Misdemeanor album. Tommy McCleandon was the guitarist and the song writing suffered. My fave off of that disc is The Only Ones. Great power ballad.
Oh.... one of the greatest live albums everrrrrrrrr...... Strangers In The Night.

I feel lazy but I have to ask...how does this collection stack up against the 2 Chrysalis collections Chrysalis Years 1973-1979 and Chrysalis Years 2 1980-1986?...different or more bonus tracks?...mastering?...sorry but since I have the 2 collections I don't want to repurchase if it is not a significant upgrade...thanks to all...

This showed up in the mail today. Currently ripping so that I can listen in the car.
A bit baffled by the really bad job they did trying to "clean up" the cover of Force It - especially since the unedited version is clearly visible (although small) on the cover of the box.

Received mine earlier in the week. Couple nice surprises, didn't expect bonus tracks but they're there, Japanese rice paper inner sleeves and really nice re-mastering. Steal of the year so far!
