Description
All In features 13 TOTO albums all remastered. Albums include Toto, Hydra, Turn Back, IV, Isolation, Fahrenheit, The Seventh One, Kingdom of Desire, Tambu, Mindfields, Live in Tokyo and Toto XX. Also included is The Old is New album featuring 10 tracks, seven are previously unreleased songs along with "Spanish Sea", "Alone", and "Struck By Lightning" which are featured on the band's new greatest hits collection 40 Trips Around The Sun. All of the music in the box set was personally remastered by TOTO along with Elliot Scheiner.

Due this fall and available to pre-order now through April 10, All In covers the majority of Toto's recording career, running from their 1978 debut through 1999's Mindfields — a span that saw the band putting out 11 studio albums in all, including the 1998 odds-and-ends collection Toto XX. They're collected here on 13 CDs and 17 LPs, all of which sport remastered sound courtesy of Toto and acclaimed producer, mixer and engineer Elliot Scheiner.

The box also includes the previously unreleased Live in Tokyo EP, culled from their 1980 tour, along with a new LP, Old Is New, which includes 10 tracks, seven of which are previously unreleased and the three new songs found on the upcoming hits collection 40 Trips Around the Sun.

A detailed track listing hasn't yet been made available, but fans can expect some extras. According to the All In press release, the box will also include a 5.1 surround mix for 1982's landmark Toto IV LP, a Blu-ray and an 80-page book offering new essays and previously unpublished photos. Each box also comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity signed by the band.

My sentiments exactly, although I would also be happy with a vinyl-only box set that includes the blu-ray mentioned in the description. Was hoping they would have the whole catalog in 5.1 but that doesn't seem to be the case.

That's where I'm in on this.

I own all of their discs except Absolutely Live from 1993. The Toto I own are mostly Japan releases from the last decade and they sound damn good. But since these are newly remastered, I'm going to take a chance on this.

This is exactly what I thought it would be-the Columbia albums, so we don't even get the last few excellent records.

A live EP? What a joke.

And a new album in which 3 songs are already out?

There has to be a CD only option right?

A CD-only box set of 13 discs has been announced for general release on October 5th. Initial details are sparse, but what info we have is now in the first post. Pre-order links are not yet active, but should be soon.

Seeing as I have all of these on CD remastered from Rock Candy (aside from the last few of this box which I have new and they still sound great), I'm thinking I might pass.

I'd pick it up for $40-$50, but in all honesty I don't need it if it's just the albums.

My copy of Kingdom of Desire is signed by the whole band when I met them in 1993.

some of toto's CD's have been hard to get for quite a while.

this will kill the collector market (if there was one) on those.

All of these were remastered by Rock Candy a couple years ago, aside from the latter three albums.

Nothing hard to find here, although the EP must've been rare.

I have the Rock Candy's myself so I am good until this set is reduced significantly.
