Willy, this is the reformed band, correct being recorded in 1969?

Yes, it was the band reforming for a one off reunion show in 1969. It sounds great, and has the feel of what it would have been like seeing the band in their heyday.

I followed The Remains closely, both before their initial breakup and after they reformed, and IMO the career interruption did not diminish their power one iota. The 1969 performance is, if anything, better than anything I was privileged to see in 1966 or earlier. As a matter of fact, they still blew me away when I saw them in Arlington, Mass. just a few years back. Outside of the Rolling Stones, I cannot think of any band that seems less affected by time than these four (now, sadly, three).

Yeah, I was never able to see them back in the day, as I was too young, but I've seen them about a dozen times since they've started playing again. Always a great show.
