4 lps. Or 2 lps and 2 cds? I might be in the minority but I love this album.

Maybe my view is what it is as I got it when it came. Out. it is. Very 1967. After. This the Stones didn't hit a bad note until Black and Blue and thanks to you guys...there is good stuff on there too.

Wondering if newly remastered means they use the recent Mono box versions (LP and CD)? Too expensive for me for two SACD's and two rekkids that will never see a turntable. Hoping for a SACD only version down the road.

I've never thought that this album is the terrible mess that so many make it out to be. It's actually pretty good. This isn't something that I need though.

I remember as a 14 year old...looking for the Beatles images in the 3d picture. Trying to do that puzzle until I tried it backwards and realized there was no path to "It's Here".
Pretty god tunes for 1967. Not so good for traditional Rolling Stones I guess. One of my listen to Stones albums still.

If the Beatles can include "Penny Lane/Strawberry Fields" as bonus tracks on Sgt. Pepper, couldn't the Stones include "Dandelion/We Love You" on Satanic Majesties?
After all, the Stones were always copying the Beatles. (Quote me and I'll deny saying that.)

Very strange why they can't add those 2 tracks to this edition?
I already have the previous SACD stereo and Prof Stoned Mono edition which sounds great, so I'll pass on this.

I recently purchased the 2002 DSD Remastered CD of TSMR, after realizing that I had not heard the entire album in well over twenty years.
I had always liked the songs "She's A Rainbow" and "2000 Light Years From Home" (also, the 80's cover of it by The Danse Society), but the rest of the album hadn't made much impression. After much enjoyable listening in the car, at the office, and at home over the last few weeks, I finally have gained an appreciation for it.
There really is some great music here, and some experimentation that doesn't quite work, but overall this is a wonderful listen that is quite unlike anything else in the Stones' catalog.

me too, especially with vinyl being a requirement & it's likely the original SACD is going to sound better than a loud 2017 remastered SACD. I've said this before, the original USA Abcko Stones SACD's are probably the best sounding USA major label SACD's I've ever heard.

Yes I was very happy with the Stones SACDs and made sure I had a quality SACD player to really enjoy them. They can't be beat. If you haven't heard those SACDs, you really missed something good.

Lots of people panning this album but I like it simply because it's different; a psychedelic timepiece. 2,000 Light Years From Home and She's A Rainbow are classics. Not as good as Aftermath, Exile or Sticky Fingers but way better than Emotiinal Rescue or anything that came after Tattoo You.

I'm not even that thrilled with Exile.
