But where's "Love's Theme"? But it's the name of the collection.

Turns out that the cover art (which I've just added to the first post) shows the title as The Complete 20th Century Records Singles, with no mention of "Love's Theme".

It still seems wrong that "Love's Theme" isn't on this, since it's probably his best known single, unless it wasn't released on 20th Century Records.

It was on 20th Century, but credited only to The Love Unlimited Orchestra. Even though Barry was all over it, I guess it technically wasn't a Barry White single.

Oh, well...I was looking forward to this, but will likely look for another collection that contains that song...my favorite of his work.Thanks for the information, Linda!

There's a Barry White, The Ultimate Collection from 2000. Two discs. Has his hits and Love Unlimited hits. No idea if they are single or LP versions. Also on Amazon it looks from the prices like it's out of print.

This is the Barry White compilation I own, entitled simply The Collection. It's a Universal UK release from 1988, budget priced. Sounds fine and has all the tracks I wanted, including "Love's Theme":

It looks like the 2CD "Gold," priced at only $6.29 new, nearly duplicates "Ultimate," each collection replacing one track with one that the other doesn't have. I'll have to decide if a single disc is enough for me or if I want to go the more-is-better route.
