Now, exactly twenty years on, comes this Super Deluxe expanded edition, containing a host of special features. Re-mastering was undertaken by original co-producer Chris Potter and this 5CD / 1DVD box adds all of the era’s B-sides, the previously unreleased Haigh Hall concert plus further live material and BBC sessions from 1997-1998. The DVD features the full Haigh Hall concert, the ‘The Video 96-98’ documentary, a ‘Later With Jools Holland’ appearance from November 1997 plus the promo videos. There’s also a poster, a set of 4 postcards and a 56-page hardcover book including new interviews with the band and a vast selection of unseen photographs by Chris Floyd, who travelled with the band and was granted unprecedented backstage and offstage access.

It better go down in price to fit my budget. But if the 6 discs is correct it will be more than the first two. Looking forward to additional info, nothing on Super deluxe edition web site as of yesterday.

Amazon UK now lists the release date as September 1st.

And the price has decreased by 10 gbp.

I need to get this in the very near future. I bought the previous Deluxe 'A Northern Soul' and really enjoyed it.

The A Storm In Heaven deluxe set is also worth grabbing.

Looks like there are some B-sides missing.

Eelkiller had brought us a tracklist which superceded what Amazon had listed, but now we have one direct from Virgin/Universal in the first post, so everyWAN should look it over again (click where it says "Tracklist: Show"). I've removed eelkiller's last post just to avoid any confusion with having multiple tracklists listed in the same thread.

I would be interested in your synopsis on the corrected track listing, are there B-Sides missing from the release? I assume the hidden track will remain on the original album.

It looks like they're all there now with the corrected track listing. In the original one I didn't see MSG, which is a killer instrumental. In the new listing, I see Bittersweet Symphony (MSG version), so I assume it's one and the same although I've never seen it referred to as such. I don't think the original list had The Drugs Don't Work (demo), which I now see listed. Lots of great stuff here.

I think Superdeluxeedition grabbed the info from the label by the looks of things, I don't see any updates compared to what I saw yesterday morning (Drugs don't work demo was there). I agree, this looks real good.
