Description
Earth Opera was an American rock group who were part of the Boston psychedelic scene. Active from 1967-1969, the group featured Peter Rowan and David Grisman. They were folk and bluegrass performers in Boston clubs, who got caught up in the changes in the music scene in the mid 1960's. They formed Earth Opera in 1967. They were joined by John Nagy on bass, Paul Dillon on drums and Bill Stevenson on keyboards and vibraphone. They released two albums on Elektra Records, "Earth Opera" & "The Great American Eagle Tragedy", both of which are included here along with two rare singles.

i remember seeing these albums, i remember wondering what they were like, and i remember never buying one or even hearing the band, or if i did hear the band i do not recall anything about them.

the first album is spotify, and i am listening as i type this......interesting......i didn;t say good, i said interesting....if you have spotify,, give a listen...

with a tune like "the red sox are winning' i had to listen to it. :)
