Description
The Association was one of America's most popular 60s pop bands, with hits like 'Along Comes Mary,' 'Cherish,' 'Windy,' and 'Never My Love.' The group was also one of the best on-stage groups ever. These qualities were clear on this live album, recorded in Salt Lake City on April 3, 1970, at the University of Utah. The album features all the previously mentioned hits, as well as fan favorite songs, such as 'Enter the Young' and 'Requiem for The Masses.'

1. Dream Girl (Dressing Room)
2. One Too Many Mornings
3. Along Comes Mary

8. Never, My Love
9. Goodbye Forever

It has the 5 songs I like. Not sure if i need live versions or not. As popular as they were, hard to believe they only had 5 hits (at least in the Seattle area).

Missing a great song (and top 10 hit), "Everything That Touches You".

Unless that was late period (70's) it didn't get any airplay in Seattle. I likely would have missed soft pop after about 1971 or so.

I was still all over am radio in 1968; so it must have been a regional thing. To the best of my knowledge, I've never heard the song. They had 5 hits here (not in this order):

1. Cherish
2. Windy
3. Never My Love
4. Along Comes Mary
5. Goodbye Columbus

I was talking about national chart placings on the Billboard Top 100.

I have no idea what was big on Seattle radio.

Along Comes Mary #7 - 1966
Cherish #1 - 1966
Windy #1 - 1967
Never My Love - #2 - 1967
Everything That Touches You #10 - 1968
...and for the heck of it...
Goodbye Columbus #80 - 1969

Goodbye Columbus was huge here.

Back in those days local radio stations actually programmed themselves; as opposed to now where three or 4 corporations program all for profit radio in the USA.

I haven't listened to ANY radio in at least 10 years.

Tried satellite, but found they repeated their deeper playlist, in the same order, for several days running.

When I listen to satellite, I bounce between '50s on 5, '60s on 6, '70s on 7, Classic Vinyl, Deep Tracks, Soul Town, Beatles, Elvis and E Street that there's so much diversity. Even if you hear repeats on one channel, there are so many other places to go to hear the same era of music.

happened to me also, 2 summers ago i rented a car with sirius'XM......drove form vegas to reno to tahoe to napa to oakland and on the deep tracks startion i heard the same songs over and over again. the whole time we had the car (10 days) there was not one single new howard stern show.

even on the beatles station, my cousin has it and went on a 2 day thing with him and they repeated beatle songs in those 2 1/2 days.

i would NEVER pay for sirius/XM, especially now that stern is only on 3 days a week new and only for about 25 - 30 weeks a year.
