As much as I really like KC, I think they have released more live & alt collections than anyone other than POSSIBLY the Grateful Dead. How much do I have the time to play from 1 band?

No, I do not have any. I do have the expanded Steve Wilson 5.1 series and the limited 12x12 box of "In The Court Of The Crimson King".

I have to pick this up to maintain the series (I picked up the first at a show in Chicago). I am looking forward to this year's show.
I am not a completest on the live series but I do have quite a few of them. Dead: different story. (from a music listening perspective, I am 'lucky' to spend a lot of time in the car - quality of life, a different story, lol. I have been revisiting the Dave's Picks series, and went through 1 - 9 in the last three weeks (sprinkled with a few other CDs).

Sad; I've probably only played about 1/2 of both the live Dead & Crimson that I own due to time constraints, watching movies & playing other music. I know I don't have enough time left on this planet to play my entire collection once per disc.

How true...and yet...we continue to get more, More, MORE!

Anyone know what % of this is previously unreleased? With all the club releases, we are getting some dups from KC at this point.

Don't get me wrong, I love this band. Possibly the only rock band that retains this level of quality with 1 consistent original member & a revolving cast of members.

No idea from my knowledge perspective. I just love the flow of tracks on these boxes and by the way (and they look great on the shelf).

While this probably will be available at the show I'm seeing in July, I might as well order it now.

I envy you, the car is my usual place these days to listen to music but I need to go on 'longer' drives to finally listen to the Grateful Dead complete Europe 1972 mega box set.

My music listening has declined due to the fact I just don't spend much time in a car anymore (I'm retired) and most trips take just minutes.

My backlog is similar on cd + I only feel safe playing burned discs in my cd changer due to scratching.

With Hi-res, I've just accumulated too much. On flash drives, I'm up to #18 of 51 (ranging from 32-128 gigs each) , & I have probably 300+ unplayed SACD's & DVD-a's.
