another band starting to get just a little excessive in retrospective greatest hits CD's.
i'm pretty sure that the old rhino handmade box set by them, which was wonderful, was missing some very key songs that were either singles only or released only best of albums
jimbo can probably help me on this as i think he got one of those, i, alas, did not

For me this is a must. Reason #1, Real Gone does very good work and Reason #2 the Mono singles (A&B).Never got a chance to get The Rhino Handmade. Sold out very fast around here.

Heck, I never even seen it. That's why this issue has been pre-ordered. A great group and this should so killer, especially the powerful mono singles, the stuff we heard on the radio when we were kids.

I never gave The Rascals much thought until I got one of those little "original album classics" boxed sets of five of their CDs. Now I'm a fan. I'd put the Groovin' and Once Upon A Dream albums up against just about anything from that period. This looks like a good collection.

Why such a high price point on this collection? I saw it in my local shop selling for 39.95 today. The Artful Dodger collection, also on Real Gone, was 24.95. What am I missing here? I will likely order from Amazon, but I think the list price is ridiculous.

That is high Bill I paid under $28.00 at Amazon. You are going to love the Mono mixes, the punch and clarity is outstanding. Posted it in my "What Are You Listening To Now?"

This was tempting but the set is expensive in Canada and I already own the individual CD's (Collectors Choice/Sundazed) plus the Rhino Handmade and Japan Atlantic Years sets. Great track listing though.
