Description
Joan Armatrading, legendary songstress and purveyor of finely tuned, emotionally charged music, is back with a new release, Me Myself I: World Tour-- a CD and DVD release documenting her 2014/2015 solo world tour which was billed as both her first world tour and the last major tour of her career. The tour album-- written, arranged and performed by Joan-- was recorded in October of 2015 at The Barns at Wolf Trap, the intimate concert space of the world renowned DC area venue and contains her biggest hits spanning her entire career.

Wondering if this is a vault show; she had an 80's album called Me Myself I.

If it is, I'll likely want it.

Her web site states that this is a solo show (making the DVD's title literally true) from her 2014-2015 world tour. Just Joan on guitar and piano-- first time in 38 years playing piano on stage. No info on the site regarding the track list.

Nice Set List. Would have preferred a document of the Me Myself I tour, which I believe I saw.

Very talented lady. I have many of her albums. "Me Myself I" is a classic from 1980. Chris Spedding on guitar, and Danny Federici and Clarence Clemons from the E Street Band help out.

I've seen her at least 3 times: the end of her classic period (I believe that was the show I saw her with Tony Levin on Chapman stick so it was definitely near the end of the period, or else I have it mixed up with the "new wave" show in my mind), her new wave period, & a solo acoustic show in the early '00's.

Lucky you! I never had the chance. Glad to took the opportunity to do so.

My fav two albums by her are both live; there was an A&M promo only vinyl LP called "Live At The Bijou" & a Canadian only vinyl album (briefly released on cd by Hip-O Select) Called Steppin' Out.
