I hope this one has more punch than Three Chords Good. I liked that album but it didn't really sound like GP & The Rumour. Kind of like when Joe Jackson reunited with his original band (Maby, Houghton & Sanford) for the Volume 4 album. I loved it but he kind of squandered the opportunity to really let those guys shine like they did in the early days.

Bump: Added Amazon UK pre-order link to the first post. No word yet about a domestic release.
I've also updated the description to Universal's latest solicitation, which says (perhaps in direct response to Rich!) that this album will be "a real return to form" for GP and the group. We shall see.
It's on Muzo so I wasn't able to embed it here like we can with YouTube videos. If this song is any indication of the rest of the album, it will likely be a continuation of the last one. Very good but not great.

My copy of Mystery Glue arrived today. Haven't played it yet but I found it interesting that there are approximately a dozen photos of Graham Parker throughout the booklet & digipak but not a single image of the other guys. It's billed as a "Graham Parker And The Rumour" album so you would think there would be at least one group shot. I realize this isn't terribly important but I wanted to mention it anyway. Can't wait to give this CD a spin later today.
