His new album, which some will be disappointed to find is very techno-sounding. The US Amazon page must be listing the import, based on the price:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TLU48N0/?tag=imwan-20

Here is the UK MP3 page where you can sample the tracks: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00TFVPTQA/?tag=imwan-21

There is also a 2-disc version on Amazon.uk with the extra disc being the full 110-minute DVD of his PPV Unpredictable Todd Rundgren show on Amazon.uk. This should be released domestically as was the State 2-disc version but there is no page for it yet. The UK page:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00TRUJ7P8/?tag=imwan-21

And, of course, there's a bonus track in Japan, but none of the usual sites (CD Japan, Amazon.jp.co, HMV) list what it is, only that there is one.

not a big rundgren fan, but i must give credit where credit is due, he does keep on playing and writing new stuff, unlike most of his contemporaries.

Finally found out the Japanese bonus track. It's a song called "Technopolis," apparently a cover of a 1979 instrumental song by synth-pop band Yellow Magic Orchestra. I can totally see Todd doing this. Here's a YouTube clip of the song:

CDJapan has the April 8th release for only a little over $19, so that's not bad, although there is shipping.

Big Todd fan but this sounds pretty weak. he's hit and miss at times. As far as being techno, I really liked No World Order, but this ones not grabbing me based on the sample clips.

This is my opinion, but as a Rundgren fan I can say I haven't liked anything he's done since the early 80's and some of his albums are downright terrible.

This one adds to the list.

His resume as a singer/guitarist/writer/producer is second to none, but he should've stopped long ago.

I also saw him live around 2007 and he was awful.
