The Rainmakers return with an album of choice cover songs, giving the album the obvious title, "COVER BAND". Ranging from traditional Americana ("Tennessee Stud", "Sixteen Tons") to classic folk (Simon & Garfunkel's "America", Dylan's "Too Much of Nothing") to odd Top-40 hits (Association's "Along Comes Mary", David Essex's "Rock On') the only thing these songs have in common is the fiery and loving interpretation the band brings. They obviously love all these tunes - kind of fun figuring out how these influences shaped the Rainmakers sound and songwriting. Already getting airplay in Norway is "Møkkamann" originally by Norwegian band Dum-Dum Boys, a song unknown to most American listeners, but a perfect fit with the other tracks.
