Available in 2CD/DVD, Blu-ray and digital formats, this new release encompasses two of the band’s iconic albums, 1971’s The YES Album and 1977’s Going For The One, as they were performed live on the band’s 2014 world tour.

Says guitarist Steve Howe, "Playing complete albums is a great way to hear the development of YES music & relive the familiar transitions from one track to another.” Expertly executed, these two classic albums are performed in their entirety, respecting the original arrangements, and yet still adding a new and exciting flair. “Going For The One is a wonderfully diverse set of songs, whilst The Yes Album contains the most ‘played live’ songs in the career of the band,” complements Howe.

I'm guessing this is the "3 albums" tour from last year/early this year?

I'd heard a DVD and CD were recorded for that tour.

Not at all-Frontiers is Yes's label and has been since 2011.

I can't keep track of all the recordings that Billy Sherwood is working on at any given moment (which is usually a LOT), but it's good to see him working on another Yes project.

Yes Announce First Live CD and DVD With Singer Jon Davison

Fans will get their first take-home opportunity to hear Yes in concert with current lead singer Jon Davison on the forthcoming ‘Like It Is: Yes at the Bristol Hippodrome.’

Available on two-CD/DVD, Blu-ray and digital formats on Dec. 9, this new live package features Davison interpreting both ‘The Yes Album’ and ‘Going for the One’ with a veteran lineup including Chris Squire, Steve Howe, Alan White and Geoff Downes. Among the featured songs are ‘I’ve See All Good People,’ ‘Yours Is No Disgrace,’ ‘Wonderous Stories’ and ‘Starship Trooper,’ a sample of which you can see above. The complete track listing is below.

Meanwhile, Yes’ ongoing concert dates begin again on Nov. 10 in New Zealand, with concerts throughout the month in Australia and then Japan. Davison, with Yes since 2012, played a key role in their most recent studio release, ‘Heaven and Earth,’ writing or co-writing all but one of its eight songs.

Yes also recently released ‘Songs From Tsongas,’ a concert DVD with former singer Jon Anderson.

Sigh, it just seems like so much going through the motions... I don't get any fire off this at all.

I saw the tour and it was very good.

Most of the guys are in their 60's and have looked they've been going through the motions for decades, but they never were very animated aside from Jon and Chris.

Maybe they are a bit, but the show I saw was very well received.

Alan is just killing the tempos though-his drumming is well below par now.
