Allison Moorer's newest eOne album, Down To Believing, is being hailed as her best body of work, despite her previously earned nominations for an Academy Award for Best Song and a Grammy. The album features Moorer's warm, distinctive vocals on 12 self-written, genre-crossing tracks that explore a wide range of topics, drawn from her own true life experiences, both positive and negative.

Every time I put this in the CD player, it grows on me a little more. The songs are all solid, and the singing and production is first rate. Recommended.

I've really enjoyed this album, too. I have a couple of earlier albums, which I find hit and miss, which made me hesitant about getting this one. This effort and her performances are solid!

Let me put it this way: This album is everything that most "modern" country albums want to be, or think they are, but aren't. And Momo is dead on -- she's always been obviously talented, but the consistency of material wasn't there.
