This 2cd set was released last month, but it's well worth taking a look at if you're a fan of Patti Smith, who has a song with Johnny Depp of all people, or former R.E.M. front man Michael Stipe, who duets with the illustrious Courtney Love.

I can't speak for the rest of the collection, but having purchased each of the previously mentioned tracks I can attest to them both being rather infectious and well worth a listen if you're a fan. Additional performances are by Beth Orton, Iggy Pop, Todd Rundgren, Frank Zappa ?, Sean Lennon, Ivan Neville and Macy Gray.
