if you like loggins & messina and you like kenny loggins solo, you will like this, i promise.

very nice tight harmonies and real nice musicianship.

The creative spark that eventually evolved into Blue Sky Riders was struck when two veteran singer/songwriters worked on their first song together. When Kenny Loggins, one of the premiere voices in modern popular music, joined forces with Gary Burr, one of Nashville's most accomplished writers, on the well-received 2008 release "How About Now," they felt they sounded like brothers when they sang together. Loggins, looking for a creative step forward in his musical career, decided on the-spot to form a band but wanted to add a third, female voice. I agree, Renny; it's excellent.

It didn't occur to me that no one had posted this up yet. I agree that it's an excellent collection of songs. It's the most energized that Kenny Loggins has sounded since the early Loggins and Messina albums. There isn't a bad track on the disc. You can also obtain a 3 track live ep from their web site. The band has been the opening act for Loggins' solo shows and the quality of the performances is great.
