Yes! This is terrific news. I've been waiting for a new Boz Scaggs album for awhile. While his projects often vary in style, they are consistently of high quality. I'm puzzled by the inclusion of the Memphis Horns. Was this recorded prior to Andrew Love's death, or did Wayne Jackson team up with someone else to form the new Memphis Horns? Just curious...

i know they might not be to every fan's taste, but i've quite enjoyed the last two sets of standards. to be honest, however, i am more interested in the original tracks on this upcoming release.

According to Boz's Facebook page, Barnes & Noble will be selling an exclusive version of "Memphis" with 4 bonus tracks on a second CD. Yet the B&N site has no mention of bonus tracks. I haven't been able to find any confirmation of this, or any information on what the bonus tracks are. Does anyone have information?

Couldn't find any details on the B&N bonus disc, but iTunes is offering "Mary, Don't You Take Me On No Bad Trip [Long Version]" as a bonus track so that might be one inclusion.

the website says its there but nothing comes up but the regular CD.

According to this press release from earlier today, the 2-CD B&N-exclusive version of Memphis has 6 bonus tracks-- all demos-- but no further details are provided and there's no information on the B&N site. http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/03/ ... RN20130304
