Product Description
After five years of absence, progressive rock band THE FLOWER KINGS return with Banks Of Eden. Led by mastermind Roine Stolt (Transatlantic), the material is classic FLOWER KINGS, with all the dreamy, melodic and cinematic elements that fans around the globe have learned to love over the years. However, the 2012 incarnation of the band mixes it up with both psychedelic and darker metal passages that place this album somewhere in between the late 60's proto prog and the new generation of art rock.

1. Numbers
2. For The Love Of Gold
3. Pandemonium
4. For Those About To Drown
5. Rising The Imperial

Not sure they're underrated, but they're certainly under-known. Only prog heads seem to be aware of them. I've been buying their CDs since around '96 or '97, when Roine Stolt released his solo album "The Flower King" that became the band's unofficial debut. I've got everything they've released (about 15 albums & DVDs), as well as all of Stolt's solo albums and side projects. Needless to say, they're one of my favorite modern bands. Any fans of 70s symphonic prog would love them, and they add elements of every great prog band, as well as hints of Zappa. My copy already shipped from Amazon, and I should have it later this week. Can't wait.

Got mine yesterday but haven't had a chance to listen yet. Nice packaging.
