Accept have revealed their 14th studio album is to be called Blind Rage, and it’s set for launch on July 18 via Nuclear Blast.
It’s the German veterans’ third release since reuniting in 2009 behind American vocalist Mark Tornillo, and follows their two best-charting records of all time: 2010′s Blood Of The Nations and 2012′s Stalingrad.
Guitarist Wolf Hoffmann says: “Something happened to us – something subliminal and impetuous. It’s wild and scary, and it’s called Blind Rage.
“The cover artwork by Daniel Goldsworthy shows the beast coming over us in blind rage, all over the planet. Wherever we go, whenever you turn on the TV there’s blind rage in the works – natural catastrophes or man-made madness.”
Produced by Andy Sneap, the album is described as having more of a classic feel than Tornillo’s previous outings, but with a range of recent influences offering a subtle sense of modernity.

Accept guitarist Wolf Hoffmann says trying to make a living in a metal band is almost impossible.
With the German band set to release Blind Rage – their third album with singer Mark Tornillo and 14th overall – in July, Hoffmann admits he sympathises with hard-working metal bands.
A keen photographer, Hoffmann admits he is only in Accept for the love of the music, because he doesn't expect to make much money out of it.
Speaking to Powerline, he says: “I’ve been a photographer and quite successful at it, and very comfortable with what I was doing. If I was only trying to survive or make a living or earn money, I’d be doing photography all day long. It’s much easier. And less stressful.
"But the big question for me is: is it as rewarding? I’d probably have to give the honest answer, 'no.' Music is much more rewarding in the end.
“I think it is still frickin’ hard to make a living in this kind of thing. And you’d be crazy to do music to earn a living. I’ve said it again and again, and this is not the only motivation for us by far: we really want this because we love doing it.
"But if it was a way for us to make a living only, it would be tough, man. Fortunately, we now built up our business to where it’s really becoming a business again. But if you’re in the music business trying to make money with metal nowadays, good luck. It’s not easy.”
Accept are touring America before a trip to Europe in support of Blind Rage.

Accept have released the third video preview for their forthcoming album Blind Rage, in which co-founder Wolf Hoffmann reveals he sings solo ideas to himself before working them out on guitar.
The German axeman believes he has a unique approach to the creative process. He says: “I’m a gut player – I just play what I feel. I’m not somebody who sits down and practices all day long, and waits for a nice melody to come his way.
"I do the opposite. I sit and think, ‘What could the song really need?’ as if it was a vocal idea, then I work it out that way. I sing it to myself first, then teach myself how to play it."
Hoffman also discusses some of the artists who influenced him, name checking Ritchie Blackmore and describing Uli Jon Roth as "probably the best of them all."
The veteran guitarist revealed last month the band decided on the album title after seeing Dan Goldsworthy’s cover artwork: “None of the song titles we had worked with the cover so we figured we’d come up with something that symbolises what Accept and our music stand for," he says. "And Blind Rage just seemed fitting.”
Their 14th studio work on August 15 via Nuclear Blast.
