Product Description
Marty Balin is the founder of Jefferson Airplane, hit song maker of Jefferson Starship, and R&R Hall of Fame icon. The Witcher is best summed up as Bodacious DF (Marty's group in 1973) meets Nothin' 2 Lose (one of Marty's favorite solo albums). Ten new songs including "The Witcher," an updated version from the Bodacious DF days, "Turn Me Up," "Love Don't Lie," "I Want You," "Just A Dream," "Ganja of Love," a first time studio recording of this classic live performance favorite, and "Dream Motorcycle" a remake from the KBC (Kantner, Balin, Casady) Band.

Love JA & post Mickey Thomas JS, but Balin solo on record has never done it for me. Though I did see him live in Boston (solo with a band) around 1989/1990 & it was a good show.

Liked his first album which had the hit "Hearts".
Love his voice on all those big Jefferson Airplane/ Starship hits but I agree, a spotty solo career.

I have the CD JohnG has posted. I hope for a good album here. Met Marty in Tampa back in the 80's in a nightclub. Sat with him for awhile. Really a nice down to earth guy. I wish him well!
